It rained buckets for days, and I was sure all the peonies and irises would have been pummeled into oblivion, but there they were as soon as the skies cleared, ready to open.  Some had even started without me, had left me rushing to catch up.

I live on the edge of the most wondrous place, halfway between rock and wave, almost at the very end of what I can imagine--and yet there is always another surprise in store, waiting for me to discover my mind's own eye.

  1. Stunning photography. I want to soak in the colors and shapes of the images you capture. Today, my favorite is the popcorn bud at the last. I look forward to reading thorough all of your posts.

  2. Those peonies look almost like whipped cream in cups! The fairies eat this, maybe? :o) Our peonies are just coming into bloom and our purple irises never looked more stunning. It's been an oddly chilly spring here. Looking forward to summer warm. Happy Days, Gigi ((HUGS))

    1. Yes, Tracy, they are, indeed, food for the fairies! Our spring has been all over the place--now warm and bright, now dark and raining and cold, often all in the same day! A warm (but not too warm) summer would be most welcome! Miss you, my friend. I'll be by for a visit very soon! xo
