I was minding my business,
photographing some Chinese lanterns I'd just bought,
when I realized that I wasn't alone in the kitchen.
The baker man had arrived
to make some amazing, magical bread.
The key to staying together nineteen years: marry a man who can bake.
(Oh, and it doesn't hurt if he's cute!)

ReplyDeleteI am the baker in the family, but my husband makes me breakfast each morning, which is just divine. I wake up to..."coffee's ready" every day. And, as I am not a morning person exactly, it is sooo appreciated.
Oh, how lucky you are to have a husband who bakes bread...my husbamd wouldn't have a clue, although he does have other talents !!!!

ReplyDeletegigi..fresh bread AND Chinese lanterns in the same room...fabulous
ReplyDeleteAw...sweet. Mine doesn't bake, or cook much at all unless there is a grill involved. He does however keep a small vase on my kitchen counter filled with tiny blossoms to surprise me. That works too!
