The Way to a Girl's Heart

I was minding my business,
photographing some Chinese lanterns I'd just bought,
when I realized that I wasn't alone in the kitchen.

The baker man had arrived
to make some amazing, magical bread.
The key to staying together nineteen years: marry a man who can bake.
(Oh, and it doesn't hurt if he's cute!)

  4. Yes, he's a keeper.
I am the baker in the family, but my husband makes me breakfast each morning, which is just divine. I wake up to..."coffee's ready" every day. And, as I am not a morning person exactly, it is sooo appreciated.

  9. Oh Gigi I so agree - Mr Brabourne is chief cook here at the Farm. Lucky really as I'm the world's very worst cook! Your bread looks so delicious and the chinese lanterns are beautiful. Leigh

  12. Aw...sweet. Mine doesn't bake, or cook much at all unless there is a grill involved. He does however keep a small vase on my kitchen counter filled with tiny blossoms to surprise me. That works too!
