Angela Adams is a Portland, Maine, designer whose work I love. She dreams up everything from custom made rugs to furniture to delicious tiles and glassware. Her colors are vibrant and her shapes and themes are drawn from nature. Her Portland showroom is in the heart of the very hip east side neighborhood on Munjoy Hill. You can also find her tiles at Old Port Specialty Tile just a couple of blocks away on Middle Street.
Those carpets are amazing...like landscapes! I've not seen anything quite like those... Thank you for this great, informative and beautiful feature, Gigi! Happy weekend :o) ((HUGS))
That's art in a rug...beautiful work. Gigi....each one must take her ages....absolutely beautiful, although, I think I might be scared to walk on it. Would have to take my shoes off !!!! XXXX
Hi Gigi, I've just been catching up on your recent posts and just wanted to tell you how lovely and enjoyable they all are. Island life sounds fabulous! And yes, these rugs are stunning.
Wonderful texture...definitely a piece of artwork! ...adore all the soothing color combination~ quite a departure from her previous collection of bold & bright! ~xo*
i would definitely toss the slippers if i had one of these rugs in our home ... can you imagine digging your toes into the different patterns ... and that's all i would do ... place it so the sun would shine in and then i would spend time lazing in the sun, tracing the patterns and getting lost ... i think i just became a little girl again! this woman is very talented ... her tile works are remarkably diverse! thank you dear gigi ~ prairiegirl xo xo

I love her - especially her bags, which are the best as far as size and durability. And look at the rug, like the forest floor...
