  5. oooooooooooo ...
    sighhhhhhhhhhh ...
i so knew that all those windows only could mean glorious sun streaming in for you ...
when i was little, my favourite thing to do on a winter sunday afternoon was to curl up 'like a cat' on the carpet of the living room where the sun shone in strongly ... just a little dreamy nap in it's beautiful warmth ...
hmmm, your writing would wait while you caught a few tiny winks in that honey glow!
    wink wink ~

  6. Lenore: That little funny desk does, indeed, have the best view. On the other side of the door is the dining table. There's a pretty sweet view from there, too.
Martina: So glad you're having lovely weather, too. Can't wait to see what magic you capture with that camera of yours.
Marisa, Cathi, and Someone's Mom: Thanks so much. It's a nice space to work in--sooooo much light and endless ocean.
Prairiegirl: You and I think alike! I did drift off for a bit. How could I resist that sunlight? Later, too, I bundled up in a quilt and sat out on the deck with my crocheting. I just bought some lovely recycled silk with which I'm making a funky scarf. I'll show a picture when it's finished.

Thanks for the fabulous comments, my friends! xoxo Gigi

  14. Oh Maine, it calls to me every day..I spent the seven most wonderful years of my life in Maine and I miss it each and every day. Thank you for giving me a wee taste to savour and treasure.

  15. I so understand what you mean, Debbe. I grew up in Maine, then spent nearly two decades away for school and work. My husband and I came back here last fall on a sabbatical (this photo is of the cottage where we lived for 4 months), and that sabbatical made us realize that we HAD to move back for good. So, a year later we did, and I'm so happy to be back here. Hope you can come back someday, too!
