Needs

"Just living is not enough.
One must have sunshine, freedom, and a little flower."
~Hans Christian Andersen

I took a series of shots of this Gerbera daisy this morning, and this one sang to me.  It has the color and light I crave and that spring promises.  My friend Sande mentioned on her blog that we all seem to be craving sunshine a little more this year than usual.  It was a hard winter for so many.  May spring bring sunshine, freedom, and a little flower to everyone who needs it.

  6. Gorgeous light and color in that photo. This time of year I always crave sunshine. Even opened my door for a little while just to smell and feel the cool air. It was plenty cool, but oh the smell, divine.

The last couple of days in Oslo have been great with sunshine and warm weather. Spring is finally here (I hope). Hopefully spring is coming your way too, soon.

  14. Dear Sweet Gigi ~

I for one, and I know you agree, am welcoming Spring with WIDE open arms.

Life has just been crazy! Although, I admit, I 'dialed out' a few days and let my fingers play in the dirt versus type on the keyboard. It did my soul good....now, it's catch-up time, but now this 'work' is filled with much more excitement since the 'play in the dirt' reprieve.

    Bisous,
    Melissa
