Desires

Nesting Bowls from Terrain

Press Camera Makeup Bag from Anthropologie

I like cleaning products to look and smell
like spa products.
If it comes from an apothecary jar,
just maybe I can trick myself
into using it to do housework.

Incanto Ruffle Dinner Plate from Vietri

Or anything by Vietri.

Chan Luu Lace Scarf from Garnet Hill

Silver Heart from Willa Wirth

She's a local silver artist in my Portland neighborhood.
Her shop is beautiful, and so is her website.

1908 Crazy-Quilt Pillow from Enhabiten on Etsy

I love this Etsy shop!

I'm in window-shopping-magpie mode, both physically and virtually.  Just thought I'd share some lovelies I've been spotting, in case anyone else is craving pretty things in silvery greys, creamy whites, and plummy pinks.

  4. I'm chuckling over those "nesting bowls". My husband came home the other day with a new set of nesting bowls from Williams-Sonoma. He is so tickled with my new found love of cooking. He takes it upon himself to treat us with new kitchen finds. The bowls he picked are obnoxiously loud - carrot orange, icky green, loud yellow etc. He is SO proud of them because they are "angled" for easier pouring. The bowls are hideous but the act was adorable, sweet, and typical of his "techy" nature! So... I must say, I DESIRE those bowls you picked out and now you know why!!

  8. I'll take one of all of these please. At the moment I've been coveting a lovely Fossile small leather messenger bag that would work soooo well with my iPad. I've window shopped for it a few times but I can't seem to get it out of my system.
